Public Hearing on the 2025 Financial Plan
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of The City of Brandon intends to present its financial plan for the fiscal year 2025 which includes the use of specific purpose reserve funds, at a public hearing that will be held in the Council Chamber, Civic Administration Building (2nd Floor), 410 - 9th Street, Brandon, on Monday, April 7, 2025 at 7:00 PM.
The meeting is open to the general public and Council will hear any person who wishes to make a representation, ask questions, or register an objection to the proposed financial plan and/or use of specific purpose reserve funds. The City will also be accepting written representations by email at cityclerk@brandon.ca, or by postal mail, addressed to the City Clerk’s Office, 410 - 9th Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 6A2.
Copies of the 2025 Financial Plan may be obtained by contacting the City Clerk’s office at 204-729-2296 during regular office hours 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or on the City’s web site at www.brandon.ca/budget/finances-budget. Dated at the City of Brandon this the 18th day of March 2025, and issued pursuant to Sections 162(2) and 168(2) of The Municipal Act.
