Impaired Driver
On September 27, 2025, shortly after 5:00 pm, an employee from a business in the 1600 block of 18th street reported a female came into the business, and appeared to be intoxicated, but when she left, she drove away in a vehicle. Police located the suspect as she arrived home. The 44-year-old female was arrested and provided samples of the breath that were more than 3X the legal limit. She was later released to a sober family member, and will appear in court on September 29, 2025, on charges of Operation While Impaired, and Operation Exceeding 80mgs%.
Assault Cause Bodily Harm
On September 26, 2025, police responded to a report of an assault. During an argument, a 25-year-old female pushed her boyfriend and damaged items such as a TV and computer monitor. She then dropped a safe on his foot, resulting in a broken toe. She was arrested on September 27, 2025, and later released to appear in court on November 27, 2025, on charged of Assault Cause Bodily Harm, and Mischief to Property Under $5000.
Alcohol related arrests
Over the past 24 hours, eight individuals were arrested following separate incidents due to their behavior while under the influence of alcohol. They were each lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

Over the past 24 hours two individuals were located and arrested on outstanding arrest warrants.
