Sexual Interference
On March 26, 2025, Brandon Police Service received a complaint of a historical sexual assault of a female child by an adult male who was a family acquaintance. Following the investigation, the 42-year-old male was arrested on September 26, 2025. He will appear in court on December 3, 2025, on charges of Sexual Assault and Sexual Interference.
Disturbance call lead to arrests
On September 26, 2025, at approximately 11:00 pm, police responded to a report of several intoxicated youth causing a disturbance in the 1500 block of 3rd street. When police arrived, two individuals were seen fleeing the area but were located nearby. A 15-year-old male was found wearing a mask and waving a can of bear spray. He was wanted on outstanding charges and faces new charges of Fail to Comply with Undertaking and Possess Weapon. The second 17-year-old male was found in possession of a knife and was also breaching several release conditions. Both will appear in court today.
Family Disturbance leads to arrests
On September 27, 2025, at approximately 5:30 am, police responded to a report of a fight between family members within a home. When members arrived, they witnessed a 34-year-old female strike an adult male relative. She was arrested and lodged to be released once sober. She will appear in court on December 8, 2025, on a charge of Assault. A 42-year-old male and a 16-year-old male were also lodged until sober to prevent the fighting from continuing.
Alcohol related arrests
Over the past 24 hours, three individuals were arrested following separate incidents due to their behavior while under the influence of alcohol. They were each lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
Arrest Warrant
On September 26, 2025, at approximately 10:00 pm, police located a 15-year-old male in the 100 block of 6th street, who was known to police and was wanted on outstanding charges of Breach of Probation. The male attempted to evade arrest by fleeing on a bicycle. He also tried to provide police with a false name. He will appear in court today with new charges of Resist Arrest and Public Mischief.
