Police News Release - October 29th, 2025

IPDA
On October 28th at 8:46 a.m. police located a highly intoxicated individual in the 400 block of 12th Street. The 26-year-old woman was lying on the sidewalk in no condition to care for herself. She was brought to Brandon Police Service (BPS) detention cells to be released once sober.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle
On October 28th at 9:49 a.m. Bylaw officers attended to the 200 block of 16th Street following a report of a vehicle that had been parked in the area for almost two weeks. Upon investigation, it was determined that the vehicle had been previously reported stolen. Members of the Brandon Police Service attended and seized the vehicle for processing. The vehicle bore Nova Scotia licence plates, and the registered owner was notified. The situation remains under investigation.
Break, Enter & Commit Mischief / Breach of Release Order x3
On October 28th at 5:51 p.m. Police received a report from a female who had been alerted that her home alarm was sounding. Upon reviewing her security cameras, she observed a male known to her inside the residence causing damage. The female has an active No Contact Order against the male.
Police attended and located the 63-year-old suspect, who was arrested without incident. He was held in BPS detention cells pending a court appearance on the morning of October 29th, 2025.
Breach of the Peace
On October 28th at 6:22 p.m. Police were called to the 300 block of 18th St N due to two sisters fighting. It was determined that a 16-year-old female was the cause of the disturbance. She was arrested and held in BPS detention cells to prevent the situation from continuing. Upon sobering up, the youth will be released to a family member.
Breach of the Peace
On October 28th at 9:11 p.m. Police attended a home in the 300 block of 23rd Street due to a disturbance being caused by an intoxicated 28-year-old male. The no longer welcome male was removed from the home and held in BPS detention cells to be released once sober.
Arrest Warrant
On October 28th at 10:44 p.m. Police attended a residence in Westaway Bay and arrested a 15-year-old male youth on the strength of his Warrant for Arrest. (Breach of Undertaking / Release Order). The sober male was held in BPS detention cells for court in the morning.
