For the past 24 hours:
Arrest Warrants:
While patrolling on Saturday afternoon, an officer observed a 50 year-old female, known to him, to enter a downtown beverage room. A records checked showed that she was wanted on a warrant for arrest for failing to comply with probation. She was arrested and later release to appear in Court on December 08th to answer to the charge.
On Saturday afternoon, Oxford House RCMP advised that they had arrested a 31 year-old male at their point on a warrant for arrest held by BPS. The warrant was for failing to comply with probation. He was released from custody and is to appear in Court on December 18th.
A 31 year-old female was arrested on the strength of a warrant for arrest held by Oakbank RCMP for possession of property obtained by crime, theft under $5000, and resist Peace Officer. As the warrant was not endorsed, she was held in custody and will appear before the Court today.
Vandalism and Theft from Vehicles:
A 19 year-old male was arrested after a brief foot pursuit in the area of the 700 block 39th Street when he was reported to be breaking into vehicles and stealing items from within. He was arrested while in possession of stolen items and five vehicles have, so far, been identified as being damaged and or targeted. He is being held in custody and will appear before the Court today.
Others:
Five people were brought into custody overnight, from four separate incidents, because they were intoxicated by alcohol and or drug, and made poor choices. They will be released from custody upon sobering up.
