Police News Release - October 25th, 2025

Assault and Resist Arrest

At 1:00AM, police were requested in the 1500 block of 18th Street.  The caller reported an intoxicated male fighting with staff. When police arrived, a combative 21y/o male was being restrained by staff.  Once arrested he continued to fight and resist police and paramedics until secured in a holding cell. He will be compelled to court once sober.  

Immediate Roadside Prohibition

At 4:00AM, police stopped a vehicle in the 1300 block of Victoria Avenue. The driver was required to provide a sample of his breath for analysis. The driver provided a reading of “fail” on the approved screening device.  As a result, the 19y/o male was issued a 90-day driving suspension and had his vehicle was seized. He was released at the scene.

Warrants and Intoxicated people

During the past 24 hours, 2 people were arrested and held due to varying levels of intoxication. All were later released when sober. 2 people were arrested on the strength of various arrest warrants and compelled to court accordingly.
