Police News Release - October 22nd, 2025

Arrest Warrant

On October 21st an Arrest Warrant was executed on a 27-year-old male who is currently in custody at Brandon Correctional Centre (BCC). The Warrant was executed by BPS on behalf of an RCMP request. The male remained in custody at BCC and will attend court in the morning.

 

Five additional Warrants were executed with four individuals being released via Appearance Notice and one held in custody for court in the morning.

On October 21st at 5:21 p.m. police responded to a report of a male at a business in the 1000 block of 18th Street who would not leave and was no longer welcome. Police attended and arrested the 34-year-old male. He was brought to BPS detention cells due to intoxication levels and will be released once sober.

On the evening of October 21, officers observed an individual acting suspiciously in the 800 block of Pacific Avenue. Upon further investigation, the individual was found to be heavily intoxicated and living out of a car.

Due to the individual's level of intoxication and in the interest of his safety, the 60-year-old male was transported to BPS detention cells to be held until he is sober and deemed fit for release.
