Police News Release - October 15th, 2025

Arrest Warrants
In the past 24 hours six individuals were arrested on the strength of their warrants. Three were held for court in the morning while three were released via Appearance Notice with court dates at a later time.
Failure to Comply Release Order x2
On October 14th at 3:11 p.m. police attended to the 2000 block of McDonald Avenue for a wellbeing check. A 40-year-old male was located there despite being on a no communication condition with a female who was present. The male was arrested and held for court in the morning on October 15th, 2025.
Breach of the Peace
On October 14th at approximately 2:26 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance in the 900 block of Maryland Avenue. A 30-year-old male, under the influence of drugs, was reportedly hitting walls and causing distress to his family members. The individual was arrested without further incident and transported to the BPS detention facility, to be released once sober.
Breach of the Peace
On October 14th at 2:48 p.m. police were called to a business in the 2800 block of Victoria Avenue due to a male who was within the business and had become aggressive. Police attended and arrested the 33-year-old male. He was brought to BPS detention cells to be released once calmed down.
IPDA (Intoxicated Persons Detention Act)
On October 14th at approximately 6:06 p.m., while leaving from an unrelated call, officers encountered a 23-year-old male who was highly intoxicated in the area of Alaska Bay. Due to concerns for his safety and level of impairment, the male was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and transported to BPS detention cells to be released once sober.
