Police News Release - October 14th, 2025

Arrest Warrants

In the past 24 hours, four individuals were arrested on the strength of their warrants. All four were later released via Appearance Notices with future court dates.

 

IPDA

On October 13th at 10:25 a.m., police were called to a business in the Brandon Shoppers Mall after an employee requested assistance in removing an unwanted male who refused to leave the establishment. Officers attended and arrested the intoxicated 40-year-old male. He was held in BPS detention cells to be released once sober.

 

Theft Under $5000

On October 13th at 2:41 p.m., police were called to a business in the 900 block of 18th Street following a report of a male suspect stealing merchandise. (Primarily candy and drinks). Officers located and arrested the 31-year-old male on the 18th Street bridge shortly after the incident. He was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on December 22nd, 2025.
