Highlights for the last 24 hours:

 

 

Resisting Arrest

 

At 4:42 pm, an assault was reported to have occurred in the 200 block of 8th St where witnesses reported seeing one male slap another male. Investigation revealed that 39-year-old male had assaulted a 34-year-old male by hitting him in the face. Upon being arrested for the assault, the 39-year-old male became combative with Police and was also charged with resisting arrest and assaulting a Police officer. The 34-year-old male was charged with breaching his non communication condition of his undertaking by communicating with the other male. Both subjects were arrested and released to appear in court at a later date.

 

 

Assault

 

At 5:24 pm, a couple of calls were received reporting a disturbance and possible assault occurring at a residence on Westaway Bay. It was determined that a 46-year-old female and a 47-year-old female had both assaulted two teenagers within the residence. Both females were arrested and held in custody until further investigation was completed.  

 

 

Theft Under

 

On September 9th police received a report of a stolen credit card. Investigation revealed a 36 -year-old female to be the suspect who was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000, theft of a credit card, and fraudulent use of a credit card. She was released to appear in court at a later date.

 

 

Other arrests

 

Seven other individuals were arrested for warrants for their arrest and public intoxication.
