Police News Release - October 10th, 2025

Arrest Warrants
In the past 24 hours four individuals were arrested on the strength of their Warrants for Arrest. Two were held in custody at Brandon Police Service (BPS), one remained in custody at Brandon Correctional Centre (BCC), and one was released via Appearance Notice with a future court date.
Breach of the Peace
On October 9th at 1:05 p.m. police were called to the Corral Centre for a disturbance. On arrival they located a highly agitated and intoxicated 34-year-old male. He was arrested and held in BPS detention cells to prevent the continuation of the offence. He was released once sober.
Possession of a Weapon / Breach of Probation / Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
On October 9th, 2025, at approximately 3:35 p.m., police conducted a person check on a female in the 100 block of Louise Avenue. During the interaction, the female was found to be in possession of bear spray and stolen property not belonging to her. She was on court orders not to own, possess or carry any weapon.
The female was arrested and subsequently released on an Undertaking. She is scheduled to appear in court on December 8th, 2025.
