Police News Release - November 9th, 2025

 

Last 24 hours…

Domestic Violence 

On Saturday November 8th around 8:30pm, Police responded to a fight in the 1000 block of 10th St.  A male and female known to each other were found arguing and the male was found to have assaulted the female.    A 43 year old male was arrested for Assault and held for court on Sunday morning.

 

Warrant Executed

Around 2am, Police located a female in the 100 block of 6th Street who was in possession of Alcohol. She was wanted on an Outstanding warrant and was also  breaching her probation order by consuming alcohol.  She was arrested on the outstanding Warrant and held for court on Saturday morning.

At 1530, Police located two males near Errol Black Park who were both wanted for failing to attend court.  One male was arrested, processed and later released with a new court date in December.  The second male had multiple warrants and was held for court on Saturday morning.

Robbery 

At 9:55 pm on Saturday, a robbery occurred at a business in the Coral Centre. An unknown male wearing a face mask approached the counter and demanded cash. The suspect took off and has not yet been located.  Still Under Investigation.  

Intoxicated Persons & Breach of the Peace. 

At approx 8:30pm, police responded to a  report of a fight at a downtown beverage room, where an intoxicated female was causing the problems.  She was arrested and removed from the premises, and brought to BPS holding cells until sober.

Around 1:00am, in separate incidents, a male and a female were both delivered to BPS in highly intoxicated condition, with no one to be turned over to.  They were held in detention cells until sober.

At 6:00am, police located a shoeless intoxicated male banging on doors on Franklin St. He was detained and brought to BPS holding cells until sober. 

Breach of Peace

In the last 24 hours 2 people were arrested and lodged at BPS for Breach of Peace. They will be released when sober and cooperative.
