Police News Release - November 4th, 2025

Stolen Scooter
On November 3, 2025, at approximately 9:45 a.m., police received a report of a stolen Go Trax electric scooter from a business in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue. The scooter had been secured at the bike station, and when the owner returned from shopping, it was gone.
This incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information regarding this theft is asked to contact the Brandon Police Service at 204-729-2345 or Crime Stoppers at 204-727-TIPS (8477).
Arrest Warrant
On November 3rd at 11:40 a.m. members attended Westaway Bay and located a 21-year-old male who was then arrested on the strength of his endorsed Warrant for Arrest (Assault). He was later released via Appearance Notice with a court date of January 15th, 2026.
Utter Threats / Assault
On November 3, 2025, at approximately 9:19 a.m., police responded to a residence on Elviss Crescent after receiving a report that a neighbour had attended the home, threatened, and assaulted the occupant. The victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the assault. Officers located the accused at his own residence. The 34-year-old male was arrested for Assault and Uttering Threats and was later released on an Undertaking with a court date set for January 12, 2026.
Failure to Comply SOIRA
On November 3rd at 5:30 p.m. a 45-year-old male attended Brandon Police Service as he believed there was paperwork for him. The male had a summons and a SOIRA Warrant. The male was served, the warrant was executed, and the SOIRA registry was completed. The male was released via Appearance Notice with a court date of December 1st, 2025.
