Police News Release - November 3rd, 2025

Assault
On November 2nd at approximately 12:16 p.m., a 38-year-old male attended the Brandon Police Service to turn himself in, advising officers that he had assaulted his 36-year-old partner. The female victim was outside the station and prepared to provide a statement to police. The male was arrested and held in custody to appear in court on the morning of November 3rd, 2025.
Arrest Warrant with New Charges
On November 2nd at approximately 3:48 p.m., a pedestrian check involving three males in the 700 block of Van Horne Avenue was conducted. During the check, it was confirmed that one of the males, a 14-year-old youth, had an unendorsed warrant for his arrest. At that moment the youth fled on foot. A foot pursuit ensued, and the male was apprehended. The male was charged with Resist Arrest and issued a ticket for Possession of Cannabis by a Young Person. A notice to parent was issued. The male was held in custody to appear in court on the morning of November 3rd, 2025.
Breach of the Peace
In the past 24 hours there were two individuals from separate incidents arrested for Breach of the Peace. They were brought to BPS detention cells and will be released once calm/sober.
Arrest Warrant
On November 2nd at 11:28 p.m. a pedestrian check was conducted in the 300 block of 18th Street North. The 36-year-old male had two Warrants for his Arrest. (Endorsed Warrant – Theft of vehicle. Unendorsed Warrant – Fraud, Theft Under $5000 and Failure to Comply Release Order). The male was arrested and held at BPS detention cells for court in the morning on November 3rd, 2025.
