Police News Release - November 29th, 2025

Highlights for the last 24 hours:

 

 

Theft Under $5,000

 

At 1:16 pm, a 60-year-old male was apprehended while walking on Kirkaldy Dr. The suspect was recognized relating to a theft from a business in the 900 block of 18th St North, reported on November 12th, where the suspect stole $152 worth of merchandise. The suspect was arrested and later released on an undertaking to appear in court.

 

 

Assault

 

At 2:43 pm, Police received a call from a business in the 900 block of 18th St North, indicating an intoxicated male was in the building and causing a disturbance and trying to fight. Investigation revealed the 41-year-old male entered the business and began making demands of the staff in relation to his order. When confronted by the store manager, the suspect made threats towards and attempted to fight the manager. The suspect sustained a minor injury which required medical treatment as a result of this altercation. The suspect was arrested for assault and uttering threats and was held in custody until sober and released on an undertaking.

 

 

At 8:32 pm, a female reported being assaulted by her boyfriend at a residence in the 2300 block of Brandon Ave. The victim did not sustain any significant injuries from this assault. At 10:30 pm, the 35-year-old suspect was arrested and transported to BPS for processing before being released on an undertaking.

 

 

Other Arrests

 

Two other individuals were arrested on outstanding warrants and 9 others were arrested for public intoxication.
