Police News Release - November 24th, 2025

Assault
Following an investigation into an incident which occurred on October 31st, 2025, a 19-year-old female was arrested and charged with Assault. The female was released via Appearance Notice with a court date of February 2nd, 2026.
Assault / Failure to Comply Release Order & Probation
On November 23rd at 2:00 p.m. police received a report of a disturbance at a residence in the 1500 block of 8th Street. Police attended and both individuals on scene, a 40-year-old female and a 50-year-old male, were charged with Assault. The male was also on conditions not to communicate with the female and landed additional charges of Failure to Comply Release Order and Failure to Comply Probation Order.
Arrest Warrant
In the past 24 hours one Arrest Warrant was executed. The individual was arrested and held in custody for court in the morning (Failure to Comply Probation / Failure to Attend Court).
Assault
On November 23rd at 4:53 p.m. a 40-year-old male was located and arrested for an assault which occurred on November 15th, 2025, on his mother. The male was released on an Undertaking with a court date of January 22nd, 2026.
Breach of the Peace
On November 23rd at approximately 5:58 p.m., police responded to a residence in the 100 block of 1st Street for a report of an intoxicated male who was no longer welcome and was attempting to fight others. The individual was transported to the BPS detention facility, where he was held until sober.
IPDA (Intoxicated Persons Detention Act)
On November 23rd at approximately 8:28 p.m., police were contacted about a group of heavily intoxicated individuals who were refusing to leave a business property in the 1100 block of 18th Street. Officers located two males, aged 24 and 31, who were highly intoxicated and uncooperative. Both individuals were arrested and transported to the BPS detention unit, where they were held until sober.
