Police News Release - November 21st, 2025

Arrest Warrants
In the past 24 hours three individuals were arrested on the strength of their Warrants for Arrest. Two were held in Brandon Police Service (BPS) detention cells for court in the morning and one individual was released via Appearance Notice with a future court date of December 18th, 2025.
IPDA (Intoxicated Persons Detention Act)
On November 21st at 12:42 a.m. police were called to a disturbance due to an intoxicated male. The 58-year-old was located in the 300 block of Princess Avenue and was too intoxicated to take care of himself. He was held in BPS detention cells to be released once sober.
Failure to Comply Undertaking
At approximately 3:28 a.m. on November 21, police responded to a reported disturbance outside a residence on Glen Avenue involving four individuals. It was reported that a male had pushed a female to the ground and that others were attempting to take her phone. Upon arrival, officers investigated the incident, and no parties wished to pursue charges.
However, officers identified a female at the scene who was bound by an Undertaking prohibiting her from attending the address. She was found to be highly intoxicated and was arrested. The 30-year-old female was transported to the BPS Detention Unit and will be released on an Appearance Notice once sober. A court date has been scheduled for February 2, 2026.
