Police News Release - November 19th, 2025

Breach Charges:
On Tuesday morning, an employee from Walmart reported that a male subject was in the store and was known to be on court orders to not attend there. The 34 year-old subject was suspected of theft and became aggressive with employees before leaving the store. Officers located him nearby and he was taken into custody, to appear before the court this morning on one count of failing to comply with a probation order.
A 15 year-old female was arrested and brought into custody after officers attended to her residence to conduct a curfew check at approximately 10:20 PM Wednesday night, and she was not at her home. At about 12:05 AM this morning, the mother called police to report her daughter was now home, but was intoxicated and all in the residence were fighting. The 15 year-old was arrested as she was breaching multiple conditions of an Undertaking that she is currently bound by. A 13 year-old was also found to be intoxicated and was brought into custody during this incident. The 15 year-old will appear before the court today while the 13 year-old will be released back to the parent.
Theft Suspect Charged:
On October 3rd, Sephora reported that a female had stolen approximately $280 in product from the store. Through investigation, a 40 year-old female was identified as the suspect. On Wednesday evening, at the request of the investigating officer, she attended to BPS and turned herself in. She was released on appropriate police imposed conditions, and is scheduled to appear in court on January 29th.
Stolen Vehicle:
On Tuesday morning, a report was received of a vehicle stolen from the long-term parking at the Brandon municipal airport sometime between October 21st and November 01st. The vehicle is a 2003 GMC 1500 pickup, white in color, with Manitoba license plate H25606.
