Police News Release - November 14th, 2025

Theft Under $5000
On November 13th at 8:04 p.m. a theft was reported from a business in Corral Centre. Police attended, gained a description and were able to locate the suspect at 18th St N & Parker Blvd. The male had approximately $45 in stolen products on him. The male was arrested and later released via Undertaking with a court date of January 29th, 2026.
Assault
On November 13th at approximately 10:11 p.m., officers responded to a report that an unknown female had approached a woman walking her dog in the 4100 block of McTavish Avenue and, without provocation, punched her once in the head before walking away. Police located the suspect nearby and arrested her. The 25-year-old female was held in BPS detention and will be released in the morning on an Undertaking, with a scheduled court date of February 5th, 2026.
Mischief Under $5000
On November 13th at approximately 10:34 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance in the 1200 block of 10th Street after a 42-year-old male threw a pumpkin through his ex-girlfriend’s window. The suspect had left prior to police arrival but was located and arrested at 11:08 p.m. He was transported to the BPS detention unit to be released on an Undertaking in the morning once sober, with a court date of January 22nd, 2026.
Arrest Warrant
In the past 24 hours four individuals were arrested on the strength of their Warrants for Arrest.
Assault / Assault with a Weapon / Assault by Choking / Failure to Comply Release Order
Early on November 14th, at approximately 12:19 a.m. BPS officers responded to a report of an intoxicated 38-year-old male with a hand injury. Investigation determined that he had assaulted a female, including punching her, choking her, and striking her with a coffee cup. She had injuries consistent with the assault disclosure. The male was transported to hospital and later attempted to leave against medical advice, at which point he was arrested. He was also found to be in breach of a release order requiring him to abstain from alcohol.
He remains in custody to appear in court this morning facing charges of Assault, Assault with a Weapon, Assault by Choking, and Failure to Comply with a Release Order.
Break and Enter
In the early morning hours of November 14th, a business in the 000 block of 10th Street, which had been previously damaged last week, had been unlawfully entered after a plywood covering was removed and the front door accessed. Video review confirmed that four suspects entered the premises at 12:58 a.m., ripping the till from out of the counter, and taking other items including food and alcohol. No staff were present, and no injuries occurred. Police units attended and the incident remains under investigation.

Failure to Comply Probation
On November 14th at 12:13 a.m. police were called for an alleged assault in the 600 block of Pacific Avenue. Upon attending no indication nor disclosure of assault was made. The accused is on Probation with a condition not to be in contact with the female in which he had been with. The 21-year-old male was arrested and brought to BPS detention unit to attend court in the morning on November 14th, 2025.
Possession of Child Pornography / Breach of Release Order
On October 28th, 2025, a CyberTip report was received. Investigation ensued and two search warrants were executed on Ericson Crescent and the 400 block of 4th Street around 6:15am on Thursday, November 13th, 2025. A 29-year-old male was arrested and charged. The male was transported to BPS to attend court in the evening.
