Police News Release - November 13th, 2025

Breach of the Peace

In the past 24 hours three individuals were arrested for Breach of the Peace. They were brought to Brandon Police Service (BPS) detention cells and will be released once sober/ calmed down.

 

Arrest Warrants

In the past 24 hours three individuals were arrested on the strength of their warrants. All three individuals were held to attend court in the morning on November 13th, 2025.

 

Failure to Comply Release Order

On November 7th at 10:37 p.m. a curfew check was conducted at a home in the 300 block of 6th street for a 26-year-old female. She was not present for her 7pm curfew. On November 12th, while police were on an unrelated call, they encountered the female. She was arrested and held for court in the morning on November 13th, 2025.

 

Assault / Mischief Under

On November 12th at 1:23 p.m. a female reported that the father of her child, 23-year-old male, made a gesture raising his arm like he was going to hit her and then threw her phone to the ground and stomped on it. At 5:06 p.m. the accused attended BPS and was arrested. He was released on an Undertaking with a court date of January 22nd, 2025.

 

Theft Under $5000

On November 2nd a $560 theft was reported from a store in the Corral Centre. Video footage was reviewed, and police confirmed the identity of a 35-year-old male. On November 13th at 1:00 a.m. a BPS constable located the male in the 3400 block of Victoria Avenue. Aware the male was wanted; the officer made the arrest. The male was later released via Undertaking with a court date of January 22, 2026.

 

Trespassing / Littering

At 2:34 a.m. on November 13th, police were called to the Brandon Regional Health Centre regarding a 37-year-old male causing a disturbance. The male had been snooping through a construction area and was served a No Trespass Notice by the Peace Officer on location, which the male tore up before refusing to leave the property. While on the premises, the male was also observed littering. Police attended and located the male near the Emergency Room, where he was arrested. He was medically cleared by a BPS detention unit paramedic and held in BPS detention cells to prevent the continuation of his disruptive behavior. To be released in the morning.
