Police News Release - March 3rd, 2026

Arrest Warrant

On March 2nd at 2:46 p.m. a persons check was conducted with a female in the 000 block of 10th Street. It was confirmed the 49-year-old female had an Endorsed Warrant for Arrest (Failure to Attend Court / Breach of Probation). She was arrested and later released via Appearance Notice with a court date of March 30th, 2026.  

 

Breach of the Peace

Over the past 24 hours, three individuals were arrested for Breach of the Peace. In each incident, the individuals were highly intoxicated and causing a disturbance. They were lodged in detention cells at the Brandon Police Service (BPS) and will be released once sober.

 

Fraudulently Obtain Food x2

On March 2nd at 4:38 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and identified the two occupants of the vehicle as individuals wanted in connection with an incident on February 25th, 2026. The pair had left without paying a $312.82 tab at a restaurant located in the 1100 block of Richmond Avenue. Both individuals were arrested and later released on an Undertaking with a scheduled court appearance on May 11th, 2026.

 

Failure to Comply Undertaking

On March 2nd at 11:43 p.m. a traffic stop was conducted in the 400 block of Rosser Avenue. A 25-year-old female passenger who is bound by a 10pm-6am curfew was within the vehicle. The female was charged and released via Appearance Notice with a court date of May 11th, 2026.
