Police News Release - March 22, 2026

Breach of the Peace

In the past 24 hours four individuals were arrested for Breach of the Peace in four separate incidents.  They were all intoxicated by alcohol and were lodged in BPS detention cells and will be released when sober.

Arrest Warrants 

On March 21st at 4:17 p.m. police located a 27 year old male who was wanted on an endorsed warrant for take motor vehicle without consent.  He was arrested in a traffic stop and released for court on May 21st 2026.

Fail to Comply with a Release Order/Criminal Harassment

On March 21st a 37 year old male was arrested for repeatedly contacting another person.  This male was currently on a release order with conditions to not to contact that person.  He was arrested and held at the BPS detention cells for court.

Assault

On March 21st Police responded to a female calling for help in the 1900 block of Princess Ave.  Police attended and arrested a 37 year old male in the 100 block of 18th Street.  He is facing charges of assault and assault by choking.  The victim and accused were known to each other.  He was held at the BPS detention cells for court.

Assault/Fail to comply with Undertaking/Fail to comply with Release Order

On March 21st Police received a complaint of Intimate Partner Violence.  As a result of this complaint an investigation was initiated. As a result, a 40 year old male was arrested and was held in the BPS detention cells for court.  He is facing an assault charge as well as failing to comply with an Undertaking and a Release Order.

Assault

On March 22nd Police responded to a fight in the 200 block of 18th Street North.  Police attended and arrested a 53 year old male.  He is facing two counts of assault.  He was lodged at the BPS detention cells until sober.  He was released on an Undertaking to attend court on June 1st, 2026.
