Police News Release - March 18th, 2026

Arrest Warrants

In the past 24 hours nine individuals were arrested on the strength of their Warrants for Arrest. Six were later released via Appearance Notice with future court dates and three were held for court in the morning on March 18th, 2026.

 

 

Assault with a Weapon / Uttering Threats

On March 17th at 10:13 p.m., while conducting a walkthrough of a business in the 100-block of 5th Street, police located and arrested a 50-year-old male. A Warrant for his arrest had been requested on March 15th following an assault. The male was held in BPS detention cells and will attend court in the morning on March 18th, 2026.

 

 

Breach of the Peace

On March 18th at 12:48 a.m. police responded to a disturbance at a hotel in the 1900 block of Queens Avenue. An excessively intoxicated 27-year-old male was arrested and brought to BPS detention cells. He will be released once sober.
