Police News Release - March 10th, 2026

Arrest Warrants

In the past 24 hours five individuals were arrested on the strength of their Warrants for Arrest. Four individuals were released via Appearance Notice, and one was held for court in the morning on March 10th, 2026.

 

 

Failure to Comply Undertaking

On March 10th, 2026, at approximately 12:15 a.m., police responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of Douglas Street following a request to remove an unwanted individual. An intoxicated 19-year-old female was identified as the source of the disturbance and was found to be breaching a court-ordered condition not to consume. The female was arrested and transported to Brandon Police Service (BPS) detention cells, where she will be held until sober. She will be released once sober and is scheduled to appear in court on May 21st, 2026.

 

 

Break & Enter with Intent / Possess Break-in Instruments

Police responded to a report of a break and enter at the Town Centre, located at 800 Rosser Avenue, on March 9th at 7:36 a.m. Security reported that two suspects had entered the building the previous evening. Video surveillance showed a male suspect prying open a door with a prybar while accompanied by a female suspect.

Police later located and identified a 35-year-old male and a 32-year-old female in connection with the incident. The male was found in possession of a prybar and other tools.

A 35-year-old male has been charged with Break and Enter with Intent and Possession of Break-In Instruments. He was released on an Undertaking with a court date of May 21, 2026.

A 32-year-old female has been charged with Break and Enter with Intent. She was released on an Undertaking with a court date of May 18, 2026.
