Assaults.
At 09:45 A.M., a 22-year-old female was arrested after being identified as a subject involved in an assault of an employee and theft at a North Hill business. Police located her acting erratically in one of the aisles. She was arrested and released later for court.
At 7:33 A.M., police were requested to check on the well-being of a woman. When members attended the residence, the woman disclosed being assaulted by her partner. A 31-year-old male was in the home; he was arrested a later released with a court date.
Utter threats, possession of a weapon and theft under $5000.
At 3:00 P.M., police received a report of a bicycle stolen from the Shoppers Mall. Later, while investigating a separate complaint, a male fled from police on a bicycle, discarding a knife and carrying a bat. After a short pursuit, he was taken into custody. The bicycle was confirmed as being stolen from the mall, a 35-year-old male was arrested and found be bound by court ordered conditions regarding weapons. He was held for court on multiple offences.
Intoxicated Persons / Other Arrests
Within the past 24 hours, four adults were arrested for causing disturbances throughout the city. They will be released when sober.
At 1:00 P.M., Police arrested a 40-year-old male on an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with a release order. He was held for Court.
At 2:45 P.M., Police arrested a 53-year-old male on the strength of a warrant for weapon offence. He was held for court.
