Police News Release - June 14, 2025

Break and Enter with Intent
On June 13th at 6PM a landlord of a residence in the 1200 block of Rosser Avenue reported someone unscrewing the boarded-up door of the address to gain entry. Police attended and charged the 50-year-old female. With no address to drop her off to, she was held at BPS overnight to be released in the morning. A court date of August 18th, 2025 was set.
New Charges / Arrest Warrant for Previous Charges
On June 13th at 3:08AM a Break and Enter in progress was reported in the 400 block of 13th Street. The suspect was being detained by the homeowner. Police arrived and found that the 29-year-old male had entered the single-family home via a window. He then gathered various electronics from throughout the home, put them in backpacks and tossed the backpacks out another window. Upon arrest it was found the male had a Warrant for his Arrest. He was arrested, held in detention cells and will attend court on June 14th, 2025.
New charges include Break, Enter and Commit Theft and Failure to Comply Release Order X2 (Incendiary device and Reside condition)
Previous Charges include Attempt Robbery with Weapon (knife) / Failure to Comply Probation
Arrest Warrant
On June 13th at 11:09AM Police located a 30-year-old male in the mall while doing a walk through who was known to have a Warrant for his Arrest. He was arrested and held in BPS detention cells for court in the morning.
Failure to Comply Probation
On June 13th at 11:14AM a report from First Nation Safety Officers came into BPS regarding an intoxicated male attempting to run into traffic. Police attended and were able to identify the uncooperative 26-year-old male after checking records. Records revealed the male was not to consume alcohol outside of residence or be away from residence if alcohol was consumed. He was arrested and held for court in the morning. (Other Pending Charges: Assault PO x5, Uttering Threats x4, in addition to Probation for FTC Probation x6, Sexual Assault, Assault, FTC Undertaking, Obstruct PO, Mischief to Property and Uttering Threats).
Assault
On June 13th at 2:20PM it was reported by a female that on June 12th her ex-boyfriend assaulted her. At the time of the 32-year-old male’s arrest, he reported that she had shoved him as well. The 28-year-old female was then also charged. Both were released via Undertaking with a court date of July 14th for the female and July 17th for the male.
Other Charges
In the last 24 hours there were two Breach of the Peace incidents, one IPDA, and one LGCCA ticket for fighting at a bar.
