Warrant Execution x2
At 3:05 pm, officers were patrolling in the 400 block of 10th st and recognized two female suspects who were wanted on outstanding warrants of arrest. The two females 18 years and 15 years were arrested on the strength of their warrants and held for court in the morning.

At 03:10 pm, a 42-year-old male turned himself in on an unendorsed warrant of arrest for breach of probation. He will be attending court in the morning.

At 9:49 pm, police received a call from a business located in the 1800 block of Brandon Ave requesting assistance for a highly intoxicated male causing a disturbance in the back lane. Upon arrival officers located a 21-year-old male too intoxicated to care for himself, he was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

At 00:07 am, police received a request for assistance from a cab company who advised a highly intoxicated female was trying to enter his vehicle, however, she was being violent. Police were patrolling the area and located a highly intoxicated 25-year-old female known to police. She was unable to care for herself due to her intoxication and therefore was lodged at Brandon Police Service to be released when sober.
Impaired Operation of Motor Vehicle/Resist Arrest/Assault P.O./ Obstruct Police
At 01:30 am, police received a call advising that a vehicle approaching the city from the South was driving at a high rate of speed and into oncoming traffic. The caller believed that the driver may also be impaired as it was swerving all over the road. The suspect vehicle was followed by the caller and they observed it park in the 1900 block of Patricia Ave. As police pulled up to the residence two people exited the vehicle and tried to walk away despite being told multiple times to stay in the vehicle by the officer. The officer was attempting to gain physical control of both subjects while awaiting backup. One of the occupants began pushing the officer interfering with the apprehension of the other occupant. Both subjects were uncooperative during their arrests. The 24-year-old female operator was arrested for impaired driving and resist arrest. She was brought back to the station for breath samples, but once at the station refused to provide, therefore, she was also charged with fail to provide a sample with demand. The accused was released once sober and will attend court next week for impaired operation of a motor vehicle, refuse to provide a sample with demand, and resist arrest.
The 23-year-old female passenger was charged with assault police officer and obstruct a police officer. She will attend court in August for these charges.
