Police News Release - January 29th, 2026
Highlights for the last 24 hours:
Breaching Court Orders
At 7:00 pm, a traffic stop was initiated in the 4400 block of Victoria Ave and as a result a male and female were arrested. A 43-year-old male and a 42-year-old woman were both charged with breaching their orders as they are not supposed to have communication with each other but were both passengers in the vehicle. Both subjects were released on appearance notices.
Breach of Probation
At 11:40 pm, a call was received from a residence on Westaway stating there was a disturbance at the residence. Upon Police arrival they arrested an 18-year-old male for breaching his probation order and an 18-year-old female for being intoxicated in public as she was located outside the residence and needed to be lodged until sober.
Breach of Undertaking
At 4:01 am, Police received a report of a male knocking at a door in the 1200 block of 10th St. The 39-year-old male was located in the area and was found to be breaching two of his release conditions. He was held for court in the morning.
