Arrest Warrant – Fail to Comply with Probation/Undertaking, Breach Of Release Order x 2
On January 1st, 2026 at approximately 7:16 AM, Police attended an address near the 000 block of Willowdale Crescent as caller reported that a male was in the residence fighting with family. Police attended and discovered the 42-year-old male causing issues was subject of an arrest warrant for the offences of Fail to Comply with Probation x 2, Fail to Comply with Undertaking and Failing to Attend Court. Further, the male subject was found to be bound by conditions of a Release Order which he breached by consuming alcohol, as a result he was also charged with Fail to Comply with Release Order x 2. The male was arrested and lodged at the Brandon Police Service to appear for Court.
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime x 2
On January 1st, 2026 at approximately 7:32 AM, an employee from a business located in the 1600 block of Byng Avenue reported a work vehicle stolen from their job site. The abandoned vehicle was located so the K-9 unit was deployed which resulted in a track from the stolen work vehicle to a nearby residence. An 18-year-old female was arrested for Possession of Property Obtained by Crime x 2 and was lodged at the Brandon Police Service to appear for Court.
Arrest Warrant – Fail to Comply with Probation/Fail to Attend Court
On January 1st, 2026 at approximately 1:26 PM, Police were patrolling in the area of the 800 block of Princess Avenue when a female known to Police was observed in the area. The female was subject of an arrest warrant for the offences of Fail to Comply with Probation x 2 and Fail to Attend Court. The 49-year-old female was arrested and lodged at the Brandon Police Service to appear for Court.

Possession of Methamphetamine, Possess Weapon Dangerous, Carry Concealed Weapon, Obstruct Police Officer
On January 1st, 2026 at approximately 1:36 PM, Police observed a male in the 000 block of 10th street who was subject of an arrest warrant for the offences of Fail to Comply with Probation. The male was arrested on the strength of the warrant, where a search incidental to arrest yielded a small amount of crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine, as well as a home-made weapon. As a result, the male was also charged with Fail to Comply with Release Order x 2, Possession of Methamphetamine, Carry Concealed Weapon, Possess Weapon Dangerous and Obstruct Police Officer. The 45-year-old was lodged at the Brandon Police Service to appear for Court in the morning of January 2nd.
The Protective Detention and Care of Intoxicated Persons Act
On January 1st, 2026 at approximately 6:30 PM, a business located in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue called to report an intoxicated male who kept falling over and laying in the roadway. A 38-year-old male was located and arrested due to his intoxicated state and his inability to care for himself, where he was lodged at the Brandon Police Service to be released once sober.
