Police News Release - January 24th, 2026

Highlights for the last 24 hours:

 

 

Fail to Comply with Probation Order Probation

 

At 1:04 pm, a report was received from a business in the 3400 block of Victoria Ave that a male who was previously banned from the store was there and was attempting to steal merchandise. The 42-year-old male was known to staff and was identified as the suspect but had left the business prior to Police arrival. At 12:28 am, the suspect was located on an unrelated matter and was arrested for breaching his probation order for attending the business earlier in the day.

 

 

Fail to Comply with Release Order

 

At 2:13 pm, a call was received from a business in the 1500 block of 18th St stating a group of teenagers were possibly intoxicated and one of them was banned from the business. When Police arrived, the group fled on foot but the one suspect that was identified was located a short time later at a residence in the 1500 block of 26th St. The 17-year-old suspect was arrested for breaching his release order and for a warrant for breaching his release order and was held in custody to appear in court.

 

 

Other Arrests

 

A 41-year-old male was arrested for a warrant for failing to comply with his probation order. In separate incidents a 42-year-old male and a 51-year-old female were arrested for being intoxicated in public.
