Police News Release - January 1st, 2026

Shoplifting

On December 31, 2025, at approximately 5:00 pm, police responded to a report of a female shoplifting at a business in the 1500 block of 1st street.  When police attended and arrested the 20-year-old female, she initially provided a false name.  She was later released to appear in court on March 16, 2026, on charges of Theft Under $5000 and Public Mischief.

 

Arrest Warrants

In the past 24 hours one individual was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

 

Arrests due to Intoxication

In the past 24 hours, 7 individuals were arrested due to their behavior while intoxicated and lodged until sober following separate incidents and complaints.
