Fail to Comply with Curfew
On Saturday around 9:40pm Police conducted a curfew check at a residence in the 200 block of 12th St. as the subject of the curfew was bound by an Undertaking with a daily curfew of 9pm – 7am. It was determined that the 18-year-old male was not home. At approximately 11:15pm the subject attended BPS and turned himself in. He was arrested and held in the Police cells to appear in Court in the morning.
Warrants Executed
On Saturday, the Brandon Police Service executed 2 Warrants of Arrest.
One for a 29year-old male wanted for Assault, Possess a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and Failing to attend Court. He was lodged in the BPS cells to appear in Court in the morning.
The other was for a 13year-old female was wanted for Assault. She was released on an Appearance Notice and is scheduled to appear in Court in February.
Intoxicated Persons Detention Act
In the last 24 hours 2 people were held at BPS due to their level of and having no responsible person to turn them over to.
