Police News Release - February 24th, 2026

Arrest Warrants

In the past 24 hours four individuals were arrested on the strength of their Warrants for Arrest.  Two were held for court in the morning on February 24^th and two were released via Appearance Notice holding future court dates.

Stolen Vehicle Recovered

On February 24^th at 3:09 a.m. a business truck was reported stolen. The vehicle was soon located in the 300 block of Rosser Avenue East. No damage had occurred to the vehicle. The vehicle was towed, the owner notified, and the incident remains under investigation.   

Breach of the Peace

In the past 24 hours, three individuals were arrested for Breach of the Peace following two 911 disturbance calls to a residence on Darrach Bay. The calls reported fighting and an individual attempting to start a fire in the basement. Members of the Brandon Police Service attended the residence and located three intoxicated males, ages 24, 38, and 42, who were determined to be responsible for the disturbance. Police confirmed there was no fire. All three men were arrested and transported to BPS, where they were held in detention cells. They will be released once sober.
