Police News Release - February 18th, 2026

Arrest Warrants

In the past 24 hours three individuals were arrested on the strength of their Warrants for Arrest. Two were held for court in the morning and one was released via Appearance Notice with a future court date.

 

Breach of the Peace

In the past 24 hours two highly intoxicated individuals were arrested in separate incidents for Breach of the Peace. They were brought to BPS detention cells to be released once sober.

 

Breach of Release Order

On February 18th at 1:21 a.m. members attended to a residence on Frederick Street and located a 35-year-old male wanted for a Breach of Release Order (Curfew) from February 17th, 2026.  The male was arrested, brought to BPS detention cells and will attend court in the morning.

 

Theft of Motor Vehicle

On February 18th at 1:58 a.m. a report of a stolen 2025 white Honda CRV with black rims came in to police. The theft occurred at approximately 1:53 a.m. from the 600 block of 12th Street. The vehicle is said to have damage to the driver front bumper. Should anyone have information regarding this, please reach out to BPS or Crime Stoppers. 

 

Immediate Roadside Prohibition

On February 18th at approximately 2:51 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Princess Avenue involving an intoxicated 28-year-old female driver. The driver failed two Approved Screening Device (ASD) tests. As a result, the vehicle was towed and seized for 30 days, and her driver’s license was suspended for 90 days.

Due to her level of intoxication, she was taken to BPS detention cells and will be released once sober.
