Police News Release - February 15th, 2026

Assault with a Weapon

At 1:35 a.m., EMS requested police assistance at an East end apartment for an assault. Officers determined that a 19-year-old male had been struck in the head with a glass object by his 20-year-old girlfriend. He was transported to hospital for treatment, including several stiches. The woman was arrested and lodged due to her level of intoxication. She will be released once sober and issued a court date.

Intoxicated Persons/Warrants 

During the past 24 hours, police arrested six individuals for intoxication. All were held until sober and subsequently released. An additional six individuals were arrested on outstanding warrants and released with future court dates.
