Assault Peace Officer – In Custody for Court

A 30-year-old female assaulted an officer by kicking her in the thigh while she was in custody. The female was charged accordingly and held for court today. No injury was sustained in the assault.

Pro-Active Policing Results in Weapons Charges

A 23-year-old male was arrested during a police-initiated traffic stop in the 900 block of Brandon Ave. The male was a passenger of the vehicle and was found to be in possession of a canister of bear mace. The male was currently on probation with a condition not to possess weapons. He was charged accordingly and will be released for a court date in the future.

Several Intoxicated Persons Lodged for their Safety

A 44-year-old male was lodged to prevent a further breach of the peace after a disturbance in a Brandon home. He will be released when sober.

A 28-year-old intoxicated male was lodged at BPS due to prevent a further breach of the peace as he was causing a disturbance in the 100 block of Mactavish Ave East. He will be released when sober.

A 23-year-old intoxicated female was lodged at BPS after she was located in the area of 6^th Street and Princess Ave. She will be released when sober.
