Arrest Warrant - Fail to Comply with Probation
Possession of a Controlled Substance, Fail to Comply with Undertaking
On December 7th at approximately 1:12 PM, a Member of the Brandon Police Service performed a walk-through of a business located in the 000 block of 10th street and recognized a male who was subject of an arrest warrant for Fail to comply with Probation. The male was arrested and search incidental to arrest revealed the male was in possession of medication for which he did not hold a prescription, as well as he was bound by conditions not to attend the establishment where he was located. The 45 year old male was transported to the Brandon Police Service to appear for Court the following morning.
False Use of a Fire Alarm
On December 7th at approximately 4:19 PM, Brandon Police Service Cadets advised a female had pulled a fire alarm at an address in the 200 block of 8th street. Police attended and during the investigation revealed that there was no fire emergency. The 31 year old was arrested and released on an Undertaking with appropriate conditions to appear for Court in February 2026.
Arrest Warrant – Robbery with a Weapon
On December 7th at approximately 10:40 PM, Members of the Brandon Police Service recognized a female who was subject of an arrest warrant for the offence of Robbery with a Weapon. The 16 year old female youth was arrested on the strength of the warrant and lodged at the Brandon Police Service to appear for Court the following morning.
Breach of Recognizance (Section 810 Peace Bond)
On December 8th at approximately 12:15 AM, Members of the Brandon Police Service conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of 26th street. Open alcohol in the vehicle was observed, and during the course of the investigation, a male was discovered hiding in the trunk of the vehicle. It was learned that this male was bound by Court conditions to not contact or communicate with the driver of the motor vehicle, and as a result, the 32 year old male was arrested and released to appear for Court in February 2026.
