Police News Release- December 24rd, 2025

Carry Concealed Weapon and Possession of a Weapon

 

At 11:41 AM, Police were requested to a business in the 1100 block of 18th St after staff reported a 19-year-old male attempted to pay the business with drugs instead of a valid payment method. Upon police arrival the male was arrested, and police located a large sum of money, a small quantity of drugs, and a can of bear spray on his person. The accused was arrested for possession of a weapon and carrying a concealed weapon. Further investigation into the drugs remains on-going. The male will appear in Court in March 2026 for the above noted charges.

 

Breach of the Peace

 

At 03:25 A.M., Police were requested to a business in the 1100 block of 18th St for a disturbance. Upon arrival a 27-year-old female was highly intoxicated and causing issues in one of the hotel rooms. She was arrested for breaching the peace and lodged until sober to prevent any further issues.

 

Intoxicated Persons

 

Three other persons were arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and were released from custody once sober enough to care for themselves.
