MULTIPLE SEARCH WARRANTS EXECUTED

Police executed two search warrants last night on Elviss Cres and Westaway Bay. Members of the Tactical Response Unit, RPAS (Drone) and Crisis Negotiators were all called out to ensure the warrants were executed as safely as possible for the residents of Brandon.

There was a high police presence in both areas of the city until the completion of the warrants.

As a result, a 26-year-old female was arrested under strength of an unendorsed warrant of arrest for previously breaching multiple conditions of her release order. She will remain in custody for a court appearance later today.

 

 

HELD IN CUSTODY FOR COURT

A 24-year-old female turned herself in as she had an unendorsed warrant of arrest for failing to comply with her release order. She will appear in court today.

 

RELEASED FOR A FUTURE COURT DATE

A police-initiated traffic stop nabbed a 32-year-old female who was breaching the conditions of her undertaking by not being home during the hours of her curfew. The female was arrested and released for a court date in the future.

 

A 38-year-old man turned himself in and was arrested under strength of an endorsed warrant for failing to comply with his probation.  He was released for a court date in the future.

 

A 27-year-old female was arrested in the 900 block of Pacific Ave, after she was recognized as having a warrant for her arrest. The female was intoxicated and lodged as a result. When sober she will be issued release documents showing a court date in the future.

 

 

FOUR PEOPLE LODGED DUE TO INTOXICATION OVERNIGHT

 

A 22-year-old male was found to be grossly intoxicated in the 1300 block of Princess Ave. He was lodged and will be released once sober.

 

A 23-year-old male was found highly intoxicated in the 400 block of 12th Street, causing problems. The male was arrested to prevent a further breach of the peace and will be lodged until sober.

 

A 37-year-old male was highly intoxicated and causing issues in the ER at the hospital. The male was arrested and lodged until sober.

 

A 31-year-old female was highly intoxicated and causing problems in the east end. She was lodged to prevent a further breach of the peace and will be released once sober.
