Police News Release - August 3, 2025
IMPAIRED DRIVING
Three individuals were suspected of impaired driving.
On August 2, 2025, at approximately 6:30am police responded to a two vehicle MVA in the 2600 block of Rosser Ave. One of the drivers, a 41-year-old male, provided samples of his breath and failed.
On August 3, 2025, shortly after midnight, police conducted a vehicle stop in the 1300 block of Pacific Ave with a 34-year-old male driver who displayed signs of impairment, however he reused to provide samples of his breath.
On August 3, 2025, shortly before 2:00 am, police conducted a vehicle stop in the 2000 block of 18th street. A 22-year-old male provided samples of his breath and failed.
All three drivers were issued a 90-day suspension, and their vehicles were impounded.
Breach of Probation
On August 2, 2025, shortly after 6:00 am, police responded to a report of a male who had snuck into a business in the Corral Centre and was in the washroom. The 33-year-old male was to abide by a condition not to attend the business. He was arrested and later released to appear in court on October 14, 2025.
Break and Enter to Business / Vehicles Stolen
On August 2, 2025, police received a report of a break and enter to a business in the 500 block of Rosser Ave. It is believed that a door was left insecure, allowing the suspect to enter. Stolen were two laptops, as well as two vehicles as the keys were left inside the business. One of the vehicles was later recovered as it had been left parked, unattended in the 1300 block of 7th street. A blue 2015 GMC Terrain with MB l/p MOKSH is still outstanding.
Alcohol Related Arrests
Over the past 24 hours police arrested two individuals on separate incidents for behavior related to alcohol consumption.
