Police Media Releases - March 15, 2025

Breach of Court Order   

  • At 10:37 AM of March 14th, Police attended an address for a complaint of a disturbance.  Upon arrival, it was determined that a 30y/o Brandon man was present and bound by a release order not to communicate with the residents.  He was arrested and held for court.
  • At 9:36 PM on March 14th, police were requested to attend a residence for an unwanted guest.  Upon arrival, a 41y/o man was determined to be the subject of the complaint. As he was currently bound by a court order not to communicate with the resident and not to attend the City if Brandon, he was arrested and held for court

 

Impaired Driver 

At 10:07 PM on March 14th, police observed a vehicle being operated in an erratic manner. Once stopped, the driver, a 24y/o woman from Brandon, displayed signs of intoxication common with alcohol. A demand was given to provide a sample of her breath on a roadside screening device. The sample resulted in a fail and she was transported to Brandon Police Headquarters for further testing. At BPS she provided two breath samples, both over the legal limit. She was charged and later released with a court date.  As a result of the charges, her driver’s license and vehicle were seized.

 

Arrest Warrants 

  • On March 15th, four people were arrested on unrelated warrants, two were released with court dates and two were held in custody pending court.
  • On two separate occurrences during the night, two adults were located causing disturbances. Both were found to be highly intoxicated and were taken into custody to be released when sober.
