Domestic Assault

On September 24th police responded to a report of a domestic assault in Cornell Bay. A 30-year-old male and a 31-year-old female had a dispute, and both stated the other assaulted them. Both were arrested and charged with Domestic Assault. Both were released on an Undertaking with the male having a future court date of December 9th, 2024, and the female’s court date is December 12th, 2024.

 

Failure to Comply X2

On September 24th Winnipeg Police Service requested we attend Brandon Correctional Centre and execute their unendorsed warrants on a 44-year-old male. Warrants were executed.

 

Non-Compliance of Conditional Sentence Order, Public Mischief, and Possession of a Dangerous Weapon

On September 24th a traffic stop was initiated in the 600 block of Maryland Avenue. Occupant of vehicle initially provided a false name and was noted to have a knife on the ledge of the passenger door. Subject soon properly identified as a 25-year-old male with a 24-hour curfew Conditional Sentence Order condition. The male was arrested and charged with Non-Compliance of Conditional Sentence Order, Public Mischief, and Possession of a Dangerous Weapon. He was arrested and held in detention cells and will attend court in the morning on September 25th, 2024.

 

Breach of Peace

On September 24th police received a report of a vehicle driving erratically and harassing people. It was advised vehicle had been doing so for at least an hour. Police attended and arrested a 42-year-old male for Breach of Peace. He was held in detention cells and will be released in the morning.
