Breach of Peace
On October 2nd police picked up a highly intoxicated 26-year-old female who was causing a disturbance in the area. She was held in detention cells and will be released once sober.
Theft Under $5000 X2 / Failure to Comply with Probation
On October 1st a store in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue reported that a female stole $200 in merchandise and left the location. Video identified the 18-year-old female. She had a previous probation order not to attend the store.
On October 2nd a report of a theft was received from a secondary store in the 800 block of 18th Street. Suspect was the same female. She was located by police in the area with another female and she was arrested for the incidents from both dates. She was later released on an Appearance Notice and Undertaking with a court date of December 12th, 2024.
Theft Under $5000 / Resist/Obstruct Police Officer
On October 2nd a report of a theft came in from the 800 block of 18th Street. An 18-year-old female was determined to be involved. She was located in the area and upon being advised of her arrest, she attempted to flee. She was arrested and placed in detention cells with court in the morning on October 3rd, 2024.
RCMP Arrest Warrant Results in New Charges
On October 2nd police did a walkthrough of an establishment in the 100 block of 5th Street. While speaking with a patron, the patron provided a false identity. Investigation revealed the legal name of the 49-year-old male and proved him to be wanted on two warrants outside of BPS. Upon arrest a pair of brass knuckles, a working digital scale and 43 plastic baggies containing methamphetamine was found. The male was arrested and held in detention cells with court in the morning on October 3rd, 2024.

Breach of Peace
On October 2nd police attended an establishment in the 3400 block of Victoria Avenue where a 41-year-old male was intoxicated and causing problems. Police located and arrested the male. He was held in detention cells to prevent further issues. He will be released once sober.
Possess Controlled Substance X4
On October 2nd a report of a possible impaired driver came in to police. The vehicle was located by police and stopped at 1st Street and Lorne Avenue. The male driver blew zero however cannabis could be seen in the vehicle. The passenger attempted to conceal a small baggie which was found to be cocaine. A further search discovered small amounts of methamphetamine, MDMA, and Xanax.
The passenger, 26-year-old male, was later released on an Undertaking with a court date of December 12th, 2024, and pending charges of CDSA Possess Controlled Substance X4.
The driver, 27-year-old male, was issued tickets for Novice driver in the learner stage, operate a class 5 vehicle without a supervising driver as well as Unlawful transportation of cannabis in or on vehicle.
