Impaired Driver

On October 10, 2024, police received a report of a possible impaired driver near Willowdale Cres and Wexford Bay. Members located the vehicle, which was stopped, and the driver was passed out behind the wheel.  The 43-year-old male was arrested and provided samples of his breath which were more than double the legal limit.  He will appear in court on October 17, 2024, on charges of Operation Exceeding 80mgs% and Operation While Impaired.

 

Assault

On September 27, 2024, police learned of a domestic assault through a third-party witness that occurred in the 1900 block of 1st street on September 9, 2024.  An investigation into the incident lead to the arrest of a 16-year-old male on October 10, 2024, for allegedly pushing a female to the ground, then punching and kicking her.  He was released to appear in court on January 28, 2025 on a charge of Assault.

 

Assault

On October 10, 2024, police responded to a report of a fight in the 2700 block of Victoria Ave shortly after 1:00 pm.  Investigation lead to the arrest of a 31-year-old female.  She was later released to appear in court on November 7, 2024 on charges of Domestic Assault and Mischief to Property.

 

Arrest Warrants / Court Order Breaches

On October 10, 2024, a 29-year-old female and a 17-year-old female were each arrested in separate incidents on outstanding arrest warrants. A 31-year-old female and a 38-year-old female were also arrested on allegations of failing to comply with release conditions.
