Police Media Release - November 9, 2024
Assault
On the morning of 2024-11-07, a complaint was received by the BPS school resource officer regarding a BSD student was assaulted by another student. On 2024-11-08, a 14-year-old youth attended to BPS and was released with conditions to appear in court 2025-01-28.
Warrant
On the morning of 2024-11-08, a 29-year-old female attended to BPS and turner herself in on an outstanding warrant. The accused has been released with conditions to appear in court 2025-01-07.
Break and Enter
On the afternoon of 2024-11-08, police attended to a residence in the 200 block of 13th Street after receiving a report of 3 suspicious individuals that had gained access to an abandoned home. A 30-year-old male, 29-year-old male, and 19-year-old female were located within the residence and found to have forced in the front door. All 3 suspects were lodged at BPS and will appear in court 2024-11-09.
FTC Undertaking
On the afternoon of 2024-11-08, police attended to a residence in the 200 block of Princess Ave E as a 49-year-old male was intoxicated and causing a disturbance. A check of police records revealed the accused to be bound by conditions not to consume alcohol. The individual has been lodged at BPS and will appear in court 2024-11-09.
FTC Undertaking/Warrant
On the evening of 2024-11-08, police conducted a pedestrian check in the 800 block of 14th Street. Police records revealed the 31-year-old male to have an outstanding warrant, and conditions to abide by a daily curfew. The accused was lodged at BPS and will appear in court 2024-11-09.
FTC Probation
On the evening of 2024-11-08, police conducted a pedestrian check in the 200 block of Princess Avenue E. Police records revealed the 24-year-old female to not communicate with a male that was present. The accused has been released with conditions to appear in court 2025-01-13.
Prohibited Driving
On the evening of 2024-11-08, police conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle in the 100 block of Rosser Avenue. The 36-year-old male operator was found to be prohibited by the courts to not operate a motor vehicle. The accused has been released with conditions to appear in court 2025-01-06.
Disorderly
On 2024-11-09, police received a report from security at an establishment in the 1100 block of 18th Street as a male was causing a disturbance. The 18-year-old male was lodged at BPS and will be released sober with a Provincial offence notice for being Disorderly in a Licensed Premise.
