Police Media Release - November 3, 2024
Uttering Threats
On November 2, 2024 at approximately 9:30 am, police responded to a report of a 36-year-old male threatening to cause harm to an adult female. The male was arrested at his home and released to appear in court on January 9, 2025.
Theft Under $5000 / Assault
On November 1, 2024, an employee at a business in the 100 block of 7th street reported a female shoplifter. The suspect allegedly assaulted the employee before leaving the business. The 41-year-old female was identified through security footage and arrested on November 3, 2024. She was released for court on January 9, 2025.
Break and Enter and Commit Theft
Employees from a business in the 800 block of Rosser Ave reported a break and enter and theft of merchandise which occurred on October 31, 2024. The suspect damaged two doors in the incident. Security footage assisted in identifying the 30-year-old male suspect. He was arrested on November 2, 2024, and lodged to appear in court on charges of Break and Enter and Commit Theft and Mischief to Property Under $5000 X2.
Arrest Warrant
On November 2, 2024, shortly after 7:00 pm, police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence. One of individuals involved was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for charges of Unlawfully at Large, Public Mischief, and Manslaughter. The 26-year-old male was arrested and lodged to appear in court.
Theft Under $5000
On November 3, 2024, shortly after midnight, police came across a 37-year-old male who was known to police to be arrestable for Theft Under $5000, as he was identified as a suspect in a shoplifting incident at a business in the 900 block of 18th street N on November 2, 2024. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will be released to appear in court on January 13, 2025.
Breach of Restraining Order
On November 2, 2024, shortly before midnight, police responded to a disturbance between a male and female. Investigation revealed that the 39-year-old female was to abide by conditions not to communicate with the male. She was arrested and lodged until sober. She will appear in court on a later date.
