Police Media Release - November 29, 2024

Breach of Peace
On November 28th at 8:08AM a 37-year-old female was found fighting and causing a disturbance for the second time that morning in the 200 block of 21st Street. She was arrested for Breach of Peace and will be released once sober.
On November 28th at 6:50PM 911 dispatched BPS to a residence in the 200 block of 15th Street where a 29-year-old male was causing a disturbance. Police attended and arrested the intoxicated male. He was held in detention cells and will be released once sober.
On November 29th at 2:08AM police were called to disturbance at a residence in the 2500 block of Richmond Avenue. A 20-year-old male was the cause of issues and was arrested, held in detention cells and will be released in the morning.
Arrest Warrants
On November 28th at 10:15AM a 34-year-old male was located during a walk-through of a business in the 800 block of Pacific Avenue. The male was known to have an endorsed Warrant for Arrest: Possession of Weapon, Attempted Robbery, Theft Under $5000, Utter or Use Counterfeit Money, CDSA Possession. He was arrested without incident and held in detention cells. He will attend court in the morning on November 29th, 2024.
On November 28th a 49-year-old female, known to be wanted on an Unendorsed Warrant, was found on scene in the 1400 block of 5th street during a search warrant execution. She was arrested and held in detention cells to attend court in the morning on November 29th, 2024.
On November 28th at 5:37PM police attended a residence in the 500 block of Percy Street where they located and arrested a 14-year-old male youth without incident. The youth had an Unendorsed Warrant for Arrest for Breach of Probation and Undertaking. He was held in detention cells with court set for the morning on November 29th, 2024.
On November 29th at 12:35AM a traffic stop was conducted in the 100 block of 4th Street. The operator of the vehicle was found to have an endorsed Warrant for Arrest for Theft Under $5000. The 33-year-old female was released on an Undertaking with a court date of December 23rd, 2024.
On November 29th at 1:50AM a persons check was conducted in the 800 block of Princess Avenue. A 37-year-old male was found to have an Endorsed Warrant for Arrest for Theft Under $5000. He was released on an Appearance Notice with a court date of December 23rd, 2024.
Stolen Property Recovered
On November 27th Major Crimes Section (MCS) members observed a snowmobile in the yard of a residence in the 1300 block of 5th Street. A database search confirmed that the snowmobile was stolen from near Shoal Lake, Manitoba, on September 23rd, 2024.
On November 28th, 2024, MCS conducted surveillance at two separate residences in the 1300 and 1400 block of 5th Street. Two search warrants were applied for and granted. A green, 2012 Arctic Cat Sno Pro 500 was located in the garage in the 1400 block of 5th Street and a black, 2008 Polaris SuperSport 550 was located in the yard of a residence in the 1300 of 5th Street. Both snowmobiles were impounded and the RCMP were notified of their recovery.
The file remains under investigation.
LCGA Disorderly
On November 28th at 4:22PM police conducted a walk-through of a business in the 000 block of 10th Street. A 72-year-old male was highly intoxicated and found to have brought in his own bottle of booze. He was arrested and held in detention cells to be released on a ticket in the morning.
