Police Media Release - November 28, 2024

Fail to Comply with Release Order
On November 27th at 09:16 am Police received a call of an unwanted person at a residence in the 500 block of 5th street. It was learned that the male was on a court order not to attend that address. After a brief foot pursuit, a 33-year-old male was arrested and taken into custody. He was held for court on November 28th, 2024.
Unlawfully in a Dwelling House
On November 27th at 10:07 am Police received a call of a break and enter to a residence in the 200 block of 13th street. Police found the residence to be insecure and located two individuals inside. A 37-year-old female and a 40-year-old male were arrested for being unlawfully in a dwelling house. The female was released for court on February 10th, 2025, and the male was released for court on February 6th, 2025.
Assault
On November 27th, 2024, Police arrested a 17-year-old female for assault. On November 6th at 12:57 pm an 18-year-old female had been jumped by a female known to her. The victim was punched several times in the face. The incident occurred in the 700 block of Maryland Avenue. No life-threatening injuries were sustained. The accused was released for court on January 28th, 2025.
Arrest Warrants
On November 27th, 2024, at 1:34 pm Police located a male in the 800 block of Pacific Avenue that was known to have a warrant for breaching his probation. A 35-year-old male was arrested and held for court on November 28th, 2024.
On November 27th, 2024, at 11:37 pm Police conducted a walk thru at a business in the zero hundred block of 10th street. A 36-year-old male was arrested as he had an outstanding warrant for possession of methamphetamine. A search incidental to arrest yielded a large double-edged knife concealed in his waist band. The accused was later released for court on January 23rd, 2024.
On November 28th at 02:47 am Police conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of 10th street. A 30-year-old male passenger was arrested as he had an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with his probation. He was arrested and released for court on January 23rd, 2025.
Police Presence on 15th street
On November 27th at 5:00 p.m. Police conducted an operation at a residence in the 600 block of 15th street. The investigation is continuing and there was no imminent risk to public safety.
Possession of Child Pornography/ Accessing Child pornography
On November 27th, 2024, at 4:25 pm members of the Major crime unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of 4th street. A 28-year-old male was arrested, and all of his electronic devices seized. He was held for court on November 28th, 2024.
Possession of a weapon
On November 28th at 02:11 am Police conducted a traffic stop in the zero hundred block of 7th street. The 46-year-old male driver was found to have open liquor and a set of brass knuckles in his possession. He was arrested and released for court on February 3rd, 2024.
Breach of Peace/ Arrest warrant
On November 28th at 02:28 am Police were called to a disturbance in the 1200 block of 10th street. A 14-year-old female and a 34-year-old female were intoxicated being combative with each other. The pair were known to each other. The youth was lodged and will be released once sober, and the older female was found to have a warrant for failing to attend court. She will be released in the morning for court on December 24th, 2024.
