Police Media Release - November 13, 2024

Fail to Comply with an Undertaking

On November 12th, 2024, at 2:59 p.m. Police responded to a call of an unwanted person inside a residence in the 200 block of 13th street. A 29-year-old male was arrested as he was on a court order not to attend that address. He was held in custody to appear in court on November 13th, 2024.

 

Mischief to Property Under $5000/ Domestic Assault

On November 12th, 2024, at 12:33 p.m. Police received a report that a 28-year-old female had been assaulted by her partner at their residence on Regent Crescent. Investigation revealed the female had been struck in the head and had her phone broken to prevent her from calling police. A 33-year-old male was arrested for assault and Mischief Under $5000. The accused was later released for court on December 16th,2024. No serious injuries were reported.

 

Uttering Threats/Domestic Assault

On November 12th, 2024, at 7:16 pm Police were called to a disturbance at residence in the 400 block of 13th street. Investigation revealed a 43-year-old female had been punched in the face and thrown to the ground in the residence. The female was also threatened. A 46-year-old male was arrested for assault and uttering threats. He was held in custody to appear in court on November 13th, 2024. No serious injuries were reported.

 

Fail to comply with release order

On November 13th, 2024, at 03:17 am Police conducted a pedestrian check on a male known to officers in the 1100 block of 9th street. A 32-year-old male was arrested as he was out past his court ordered curfew. He was held for court on November 13th, 2024.
