Arrest Warrants

In the past 24 hours three individuals were arrested on the strength of their Warrants.

 

Warrant Executed / New Charges

On May 7th at 5:33PM BPS members responded to a report of a female carrying a knife near the 200 block of 9th Street. The female had aggressively struck a parked car with the knife and proceeded to walk south on 9th Street yelling. Upon Police locating the 33-year-old female it was found that she had a Warrant for her Arrest (Assault Peace Officer, Resist Peace Officer, Assault X2, Breach of Probation and Failure to Attend Court). She was found to be in possession of knives and received new charges of Possession of a Weapon, Mischief Under $5000, Resist Peace Officer, and Failure to Comply Release Order. She was arrested, held in detention cells and will attend court in the morning on May 8th, 2025.

 

Breach of the Peace

On May 7th at 8:17PM Police were flagged down by nearby staff as there was a male acting erratically in the 800 block of Victoria Avenue. Police located the intoxicated 30-year-old male. He was arrested and held in detention cells until sober to prevent things from escalating.

 

Failure to Comply / Theft Under $5000

On May 7th at 8:36PM staff of a business in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue reported there was a 33-year-old male on location who was on conditions not to attend the store. Police attended and located him and another individual, 32-year-old female, who had both just purchased some items but stolen some as well. The male stole $48 worth of goods and the female stole $20 worth. Both were on conditions not to attend the store. They were arrested and later released via Appearance Notice with a court date of July 14th, 2025.
